Swedish Tissue, based in Kisa, Sweden, manufactures and markets high quality tissue made from selected virgin pulp that assures both softness and excellent strength. Tissue products manufactured by Swedish Tissue are used in a variety of hygiene products including baby diapers, incontinence and sanitary products, napkins and medical draping.
Swedish Tissues flexibility in production allows each order to be customised to its application with production capabilities ranging from 12-40gsm
Manufacturing capabilities
Paper Machine 3
A conventional 3.4m crescent former with a 2 layer headbox, incorporating the latest TissueFlex technology with a production capacity of 30,000 tonnes per annum. This machine is capable of manufacturing luxury soft toilet tissue and facial tissue paper.
Paper Machine 4
A conventional 2.75 metre crescent former with a 3 layer headbox, with a production capacity of 25,000 tonnes per annum.
This machine is capable of manufacturing an incredibly diverse and tailor made specialist tissue to converters in the personal hygiene, catering and medical markets.
Rewinders
Swedish Tissue also has 3 rewinders capable of producing parent reels in a variety of widths from 80mm – 3300mm providing maximum flexibility in its production methods.
Converting capabilities
Swedish Tissue also has the capability of converting high quality printed household paper.
